Default Will an F-body alternator fit on a C5 alternator bracket?

I'm trying to get powersteering and AC, and I think if the F-body alternator will bolt up to the C5 bracket it will work. I remembered they looked about the same, but the F-body alternator only had one wire.

That's just the Connector..only one wire is pinned.

They all look the same, I'm wondering as well..

If the alternator has 2 through bolts and not one of them tapped for a bolt, it should work. Even the alternators on the 4.3's like in the later model S10's and Astro vans should work, as long as they use the through bolt mount holes

Will some one measure the distance between the two bolt holes on the camaro alternator? That might make it easier for a vette guy to compare to.

When I did my swap I had to use the corvette alternator. The camaro alternator is not even close to bolting on the corvette bracket.
