6.0 a/c brackets
just purchased a 68 fbody w/6.0 , t56 combo. looks like it has a march pulley for the alternator on the upper driver side, question is, if i want to put vintage air on it, is there a bracket setup that doesn't cost a fortune to allow me to position it on the upper passenger side? By the way, this thing rips!!

I bought the vintage air to go in my 68 vette.
With a 1/4" spacer, or back plate, the vintage air can bolt directly to the cylinder head.
I mocked up the front and rear plate out of plywood and took this pic.
The alternator is also bolted to the head and swings out to tension correctly.
If the belt doesnt clear the A arm, I'll probably add a tensioner or idler.
Total cost about $10 in scrap aluminum, spacers, and bolts.

One other thing. I bought the vintage air package for a 68 vette. That comes with a V belt pulley. Vintage air had no problem swapping out the v belt compressor for a serpentine belt compressor. It has more grooves than the LQ9 setup, but that just gives you extra room for the compressor aslignment.
