starter how many wires are supposed to be on a 6.0l block. starter has three wires currently, bat/solenoid?/and another batt. is this correct? if not what is? I'm new to this lsx stuff

The starter will wire just like the stock starter. A wire from the battery to the starter, and from the starter to your vehicle....depending on what your car is, then the last will be the solenoid wire from the key switch. Usually purple.
