Default Ultra low mileage 25th Anniv 'vert to be sold today

Amazing how many sweet cars are just put away and rarely driven. This Trans Am convertible averages out to about 500 miles per year.

The 'reserve' was not met. Top bid was $15,000. Not sure what the seller expected. The buyer still would have to pay the auction percentage on top of that. These cars are really nice but not in high demand.

I figured $14K would buy it...

It'd be cool to find a new never titled one! That'd bring some greenbacks for sure

The seller was hoping for a sale like this one that sold for $20,000. The market isn't always there like I mentioned before. http://www.mecum.com/auctions/lot_de...=FL0112-120055

Impressive sale. I can see the value of the 30ths and CETAs creeping upwards sooner / faster than the rest of the LS1 'birds. I was *this* close to trading my '98 in on a new 30th M6 'vert, but I wasn't willing to pay the $6K dealer markup they were asking. Someone was, though.

The dealer markups are just so WRONG!! Why do people pay?? Don't they feel like they were taken advantage of? Do they really need the car before anyone else? If people would stop paying this extra $$ the dealers would stop trying.
