Default Weight reduction for verts

Yes I know there is one in the drag tech but I was wondering what are a lot of things you guys do to lighten are heavy cars?

So far I have removed spare tire and back seat, front sway bar, floor mats.. Few other tiny things.

What are other big things you guys have done?

Im really itching on a light weight ws-6 hood ( fiberglass) , light weight battery and switching to a lighter drag wheel/tire set up seeing I have chrome ZR-1 s.

Depends on how radical you want to get with it. My car is 3260 with me (235lbs) in it. I'm working on a complete list now of what we did to get this lite. BUT my car is mainly a race car. I can drive it on the street but not much

Picking a Vert for a fast strip car makes little sense with the inherent weight disadvantage, you would be better off getting a coupe. Why destroy a nice convertible?!

I concur, a coupe is a better strip car for many reasons. And if the 'vert isn't fast enough, add more power
