Default Story of my 1999 Z28

The car started life as a low optioned Z28, well as low as you can get with a convertible. 105 MPH speed limiter, 235/55 tires rather then 245/50, 2.73 rear gear. Pewter in color with gray leather... I picked the car up about 6 years ago with 201K miles. The only mods were incorrectly sized tires and the muffler cut off over the axle.

Pictures day the car came home

The car quickly got a catback(SLP LM1) an air lid, new headlights, a detail and set of C5 Z06 wheels.

So then the mod bug bit... install a Vig 3200 converter and trans cooler along with a LS6 intake. That was real cool even with the 2.73 gears, up until the trans blew. So the trans was replaced again but with a Yank SS3600 converter this timem along with a 3.73 rear gear. Drove around like that for about a year... The decided to install heads and cam. Instaled a MTI B1 cam and cartek ported 241 heads up until the trans goes again.

From there it was a bunch of ideas and plans... from a MP112 roots sytle supercharger, then adding a 383 below the 112. That idea got cancelled then now the final outcome;

A 6.0, LS3 topend, a tick built stage 3 T56, 4.11 gear 12 bolt... Sitting on a set of racestars and ET pros that are for another one of my many projects.

The car is an absolute blast to drive, so glad I went with the 6 speed.

Car looks great!! Very bad ***.
But have a few questions. What size are those rims and tires? Did you have to narrow the rear? What rear end and other suspension work.

They are 15x3.5 in the front and 15x10 in the rear with 275/60/15 ET Pro radials.

The rear end is stock width, but a 12 bolt. Just adjustable panhard bar, tubular LCA's, Torque arm

That is a crazy coincidence. Check my signature. I plan on going with a pro-charger before years end.
