150 shot thoughts....
Proper 150 shot delivered via a plate with a tune. Bad idea or not. I'm asking here since most of us 'vert guys aren't doing 10 bajillion HP max effort builds.
It just seems cheaper than heads & cam and headers.

Start minor
I'm not a nitrous user but like your self it seems like the easiest way to go about it.
Only real input I have is to maybe start at 75 shot and work your way up until you get familiar with using it.
150 shot on a fairly stock to bolt ons, gears and stall or clutch upgrade is an awesome toy.

by having it dyno tuned with nitrous you should be pretty well safe and get the most from it that you can. make sure you have enough tire to hold it and use a good nitrous controller so you can adjust how it ramps in... only takes a min or 2 and you can switch it from street to strip or vice versa... or even compensate for a greasy track

You need exhaust on that car.
I vote for most N/A power without going into motor and Forced Induction first.
At the moment, my car has the:
ls6 intake (factory ofcourse)
Long Tubes
True duals (strictly preference) but a free flowing exhaust goes a long way.
Next mod will be gears, stall and a maybe nitrous cam with a 100 shot.

I have a 125 shot on my vert. I have played with it on the street but never at the track, Mainly worried about the 10 bolt on drag radials. It is a nice kick in the pants. But as said above you could really benefit from an exhasut
