Question Rear Glass ?

My rear window is fixing to fall out,just wanting to know what kind of glue you fellas use when you reinstall it.

DAP contact cement should do it for you

Mine started to come apart on the bottom. I used black silicone and its held up for the past 6 months.

Now if only I can get the defroster tab to stay put!!!

Best to do it with the top on so it lines up correctly.

You can solder that tab on for the defroster.

A second for DAP contact cement, and it was done on the car. One year later--no leaks and still looks good.

Ahh good feedback, a year in the weather for a vert is hell, glad to see its holding up well.

Mine has a 3/8" gap between the glass and the fabric on the driver side. The window and the fabric below it appear to be one unit/section of the top. What is the procedure for glueing the window? How do you guys clamp the top and the window while the glue dries?

The glue dries instantly, it litterally dries in mid air so you have to be fast with it. My gap is about the same as yours, maybe a little more, but thats from tightening it, its time for a new one.
