Thanks guys.... as of right now, I don't have much to report. The trans was finally been delivered and i'm awaiting eric to return from SEMA to get all of the finishing touches done on the car so we can finally get her started.

When that happens, ya'll will be on of the first to know

Small update.... Nothing new yet but i did get some pics in.... care to see them?

She needs to be lowered some more though, I'm contemplating going with a set of bogarts RR-10's all around. With a decent tire infront, I think i can get away driving those on the street.

Anyways, enjoy!

Its a custom cage built by a local shop in clinton township. I can find out the name of the shop if you wish.

Its basically a weld in, 10pt with provisions for a window net. I don't know how much i'll use the net but its kinda nascar-cool, ya know?!

Honestly, this was done so long ago that I cannot remember the pricing on it but i want to say around 1k.

Well, I have a tiny update.

Everything is in, and SHE RUNS!!!! Not 100% as we are still tuning. 160lbs injectors are a bit finicky to tune but we got idle!!! The only issue is that now autometer is being a hard-*** on sending us out a new brain for the gauges as the current one is not working properly. Their first response was for us to BUY another.... really? Autometer? Anyways, we are still talking with their head guys/gals.

But, i'm excited!!! SHE IS ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!! Do anyone here know what it feels like to have a project like this and NOT be around to see it first hand? I have spend a good chuck of change on this car over the years and not seeing it in person can be disheartening at best.

Well, the video isn't the best really, its short and the quality is ok... but its something, right?! I always take car of my fellow vert owners so ya'll are the first to see here on tech!

We capped it so to atleast let the other guys have a winning chance!

We could of done it with 96's, but, eventually, I might take this build to some serious numbers and I want to have the fuel ready for "anything"

1200-1300rwhp is the goal in about 5years! Or whatever the max is on that particular dyno! I would love to get this thing in the deep, deep 8's eventually, full interior and pimping a vert. But The cage will have to get nastier for anything faster than that 8.50's and that is something I really don't want to do... yet!

With the current setup, I would be happy to get into the 10's!!!!!

But 9's is the current goal with the current turbo. It should be for a few seasons of fun. We are almost tapped out on room if we wanted to go bigger but If we do, then the radiator setup is going to modified to fit a larger turbo. Maybe a S91 or their newer X model.

Still, I just want to cruise in the damn thing first, enjoy what it is now and then maybe consider an upgrade if I even get bored. (which I know myself, I will!)

I love this car. It's very nice. I have a question about your trunk. Even with two amps in there, it looks larger than what my trunk does without anything in it (it might be my mind playing tricks on me since I haven't been in my car in several months). Did you do anything special to your trunk? Obviously the amps are custom mounted and it looks sweet. How did you go about mounting your amps there? Thanks for any info you can provide.

Quick Reply: Got my 10pt chromoly put in... so love for the vert guys!!
