How to Distinguish LS6 Manifold on C5 Vette Theres a wrecked motor out of a vette at a junkyard, but they dont know what year it is, and i was wondering how to distinguish if the manifold is ls6 or ls1. cause i know vettes dont have egr.

Easy question! If you look at the bottom of the intake the ls6 should have a flat surface as the ls1 has a curved surface that comes to something like a point in the middle.

Look for the part number close to where the manifold meets the head.
Part numbers:
The 97-00 'Vette LS1 is 12556333.
The 2001-2004 Corvette LS6 is 12573572.
The 2001-2002 F-body LS6 (identical to 'Vette but diff part #) is 12561184.
