Default Best Place to Get Parts?

I need some help. I'm new to the whole Corvette suspension and differential thing. Can you guys point me in the right direction as to how to build a C5 ZO6 to handle 1,000 rwhp? I've got the engine covered, I'm just looking for the best place for suspension, transmission re-build and differential/ torque tube parts. Any help would be appreciated!

Also, I know someone is going to say "use the search function." I'm in Iraq and it takes 15 minutes for the home page to load just to get the tab to drop down. This is the easiest for me. Thanks in advance.

Well I can help a little bit. Well I would get your diff and tranny from RPM Transmission. As for suspension I would go with Pfadt or LG Motorsports depending on how much money you have and wanna spend. And for the drive shaft LG Motorsports has a nice Carbon Fiber one that will hold well over 800 HP! Good luck in Iraq And come home safe!

I knew about RPM for the tranny, just didn't know they did the differential as well. Don't know why I didn't think about LG Motorsports for suspension. I had a G5X3 in my Camaro.

Thanks for your help!!!

Keep it coming.

Suspension for what, 1/4 mile? If so I'd conact ECS. They have a C5 running 8.6 so they should be able to guide you. I'll second RPM for the trans and diff.

I guess I didn't think about that. Being an F-Body guy by nature, we are naturally driven to straight line performance. I guess I didn't think about the fact that the Corvette is an excellent road course car.

Thanks for all the info guys. I'll definitely be looking into all of this.

PFADT also has a carbon fiber driveshaft for C5's. It is what I will be running in my car. It is a little more expensive than the LG but I think it is worth it.

Saw the CF driveshaft on ECS's website (I think). I'll definitely be looking into that.

My first ZO6 had a forged 347 build by you guys at HPE. It made really good power. 496/483.

I have the ACPT CF driveshaft, extra piece of mind. But that's about the only bit I can offer as straight line ain't my deal.

What are you doing for the fuel system??

And is this 1000rwhp for drag strip? Or for highway pulls?

Have you driven it and have you taken full stock of the vehicle yet?

Yes I have driven it. Not really sure what you mean by "full stock of the vehicle."
