how to tell if wheels have TPMS sensors?
got some stock 98 wheels and 01 wheels that came with my c5, tried the magnet learning and did not work,
was wondering if there is a way to see if the wheels have sensors inside of them without going to a shop?

there will be a 'nut' on the valve stem, if there is a sensor attached inside the tire. It'll be about 3/8 or something like that, just below the valve stem cap. The nut, tightens up and secues the sensor inside.
You might have dead batteries in the TPMS. They are supposed to last about 10 years, more or less.
Or, if a magnet doesn't work; go to a large tire/wheel store. They'll have a 'smart sensor tool', or 'tpms trigger tool'. Assuming your batteries are good, the tool should wake up and program the sensors instead of the magnet.
