stock lifters on XER lobes?
would keeping my stock lifters on my 01Z06 with a TSPr cam with XER lobes be ok? (40,000 miles)
or will i need new/better lifters?
i am refering to the TSP 228R cam with .581 lift

I am in the middle of a Torquer V.2 cam swap and I am retaining the stock lifters. The guys at TSP said it would be fine and to not replace them unless I really wanted to. Given that a shop just told me not to spend more money I think it's safe not to.

I broke one on an XER lobe cam but am convinced that I just had a bad part. When it came to time to put new lifters in my stroker I got stockers. I've heard of aftermarket failures and the Morels are pretty pricey. Everybody I've spoken to agree I just got a bum lifter from the factory. Broke the roller right off and caused havoc.
