Corvette 6 speed verses Fbody 6 speed?
Im just curious if the Corvette 6 speed is any better than the Fbody 6 speed? I know the Fbody 6 speeds suck once you get a little bit of power to them. Are the Vettes any better or are they the same transmission? Im thinking C5s.
I did search couldnt find anything as far as this.

stock trans, 615rwhp(old setup) and climbing, really fast. stock trans, good clutch. I do power shift,..and I have 120+ thousand miles on my ****. I drive my car hard, I was useing it daily,...and at the moment, I am not having any issues. I don't miss gears, which helps alot, I also have a good solid shifter.
Again, stock trans here. I know a few guys to have them rebuilt in vettes,...but,...I know a hundred more to have them rebuilt in f bodies.
I think it's just hit and miss actually man. I dunno. For reference, I've chewed through 5 world class T5's in my mustang, and 1 t-45 in the other cobra I once had. So, I am abusive,....which speaks wonders for my current trans.

In terms of guts, Vette T56s have a bigger diameter mainshaft, better blocker/synchro design, and that's about it. A stronger gearbox and more to work with in terms of upgrades.
