Search on Corvette forums. There are a few posts about people who have done it.

Just bolt them to the C5 frames. That easy. I dont know how to make heat or airbags work, but I wasn't concerned with that. The power control for the drivers seat will need a little modifying, then you'll have to figure out how to attatch it to the seat. I used two sided tape but it isn't working as well as I'd hoped.

As stated above, bolt the C6 seats to your C5 frames and use C5 seat controller or else you'll get codes out the rear.

You can use C5 side bezels or the C6's bezels. If you use the C6 bezles you'll have to splice the wires together.

I just did this yesterday. I took the seats and put them on my c5 rails. Used my bezels as well everything went together rather easily. No need for any wire splicing or anything. Seats look killer in a C5 too!

Yes, if you use the C5 bezels and switches you won't have to splice wires, however if you use the C6 seat switches and bezel you'll have to splice wires.

The best bet is using the C5 stuff because it won't effect the seat control module.

I agree. Also if you have a telescoping steering wheel you can't use the C6 wires or it won't work anymore.

That is correct. I have both telescopic wheel and memory.

Greetings. First poste here hehe. I'm currently installing C6 seats on my C5. Thing is, I dont find a single cable that's compatible with each other. I don't care about airbags or heated seats, all I care is for the electronics to work. What cables do I need to swap exactly? Any picture or other resources would be really great. Thanks!

You need to swap over your SCM (Seat Control Module) from the C5 into the C6 seats and then re-wire switch at the side.

So I just take the whole thing out (including the side switch) and adapt it in the C6 switch housing?

Here's what you do.

Flip over both seats so that they are laying on their backs. Pull the SCM from the Drivers seat of the C5 and install on the C6.

The passenger side seat does not have a SCM. The Orange is the Hot wires and the black is the ground.

It takes a bit of time to splice the the control switch on the side of the seats from the C5 connector to the C6 seat connector.

It would be best if you had schematics of both when doing the work.

I've done it a couple of times and have a nother set that I have to do for my car.

Hope this helps some.

It's pretty simple for the most part. You'll also need your seat belt ends from C5 seats as the C6 seats don't work.

Send me a PM with your phone number and a good time to call and I'l explain how to do it.

To do the wiring on mine I bought the C6 style connector body and pins. I then cut the C5 connector off of the harness, crimped the new pins on, and inserted the pins into the connector body. I used a C5 wiring diagram and a C6 wiring diagram to figure out the wiring. It's not too difficult to figure out.
