Stock Mobil 1 5W-30. Although that may change to Redline soon.

Forged 402 LS2 based Stroker, and per LGM's direction I am running mobil 1 15w50. Like Larry said, I too am not very close to stock.

I have a built in oil cooler in my RAD. and it was 80 or so today and my oil actually heated up to 200+ degrees. I wonder how hot she'd have gotten with no cooler and I was getting on it. I remember when it was CAI/Catback only with a predator tune (don't laugh) I was racing somebody I came across on my way to Grand Rapids. After a few miles of messing around and going to 160+ several times I noticed my 5w30 was up to 247 degrees ! So a modded motor with a ton more power can greatly benefit from a thicker synthetic oil. IMHO.

Swepco is the oil to use....not readily available but at the same cost as M1 it is unreal in protection & performance.

Amsoil 5w-30 only way to go I used to run mobil 1 then royal purpel switched to Amsoil and I changed my oil at 5,000k and it didn't even look used
