New PR with L92/L76 combo, plus pics
I went to the track yesturday for the final time before winter, and the car was running pretty strong. My setup is a 413 cid LS2 11:1 comp., TSP L92 heads, Livernois stg 3 L92 spec. cam, stock L76 intake, yank 4000, th400, 3.73 gears, 28'' et drags, and a race weight of about 3450.
The car launches great on motor, but the converter is way to loose to take any spray. On the trans. brake the converter flashes to 5600 rpms and it is slipping big time on the topend because the car is only trapping 125 and I am already at my shift light at the top of 3rd which is 6500 rpms. I origonally built the car planning to spray some nitrous at it, but there is no way this converter will take any, but I think Yank is going to restall it so that it stalls where is should. Any ways on my second to last pass the car went 1.43 60' time on the way to a 10.69 @ 124.666. Here are a few pics of my car from yesturdays track day.
Time to start wrenching on the car for next year. Im hoping to see some 9's on a small shot of juice.

The cam in the car isn't very big at all for the motor. I think its somthing like 242/248 .610/.618 114. I might be able to find a better working cam for my setup, but with that LSA it should work good on the N20. As far as it nosing off in the upper rpms due to the stock intake, it does to an extent. After 6200 it really starts dropping pretty fast, so I am only shifting the car at 6500 rpms, but I would like to run it out to 7000 if it made power that high. The car dynoed 431 rwhp, which just goes to show you that dyno #'s mean nothing. They are great for tuning purposes, but my th400, high stall, and 12 bolt sure eat up a lot of power on the dyno. But it goes like hell down the 1/4 so that all that matters in my book.

Keep playing with it on motor before you pull the converter out. My old 348ci Camaro went 10.92 NA and 11.00 on a 150 shot, but with a ported 92 FAST and ATI 5500 it went 10.83 on a worst 60, and a best mph of 128, and 9.9 on a 100 dry shot. I'd rather have the car run stronger on motor and not have to spray as much. On spray the first combo was probably 5700 with the nitrous out of the hole but it 60'd a 1.38.

As for what is pulled for weight savings: AC, front sway bar, front bumper support, kirkey seats, UMI k-member, skinnies, egr, and AIR stuff of course, I think thats about it.
I still plan on pulling the rear bumper supports, running some light weight carpet, aerospace brakes, fiberglass hood, abs delete, door bars, and relocating the battery. Hopefully that will help my times a bit as well.
I agree on the intake, hopefully over winter someone will come out with somthing that can handle the upper RPM's.
I forgot to say that I am still on stock shocks and springs. I really wanted to replace those to some double adjustables, but I am already going low 1.4 60ft times so I don't know if it would be worth it to do the swap. What do you guys think?
