Default Stenod Racing / Red Rocket Orlando WSN Update

Tom is currently sitting in 4th place after two rounds of qualifying with a 7.61 @ 190 with plenty of letting on and off. Paul Major is currently in 8th position with the fastest MPH so far in the event with a 7.83 @ 197. I've uploaded videos to YouTube from our 1st and 2nd round qualifying passes. We'll hopefully get two more qualifying passes in tomorrow.

Great job, did you guys see Caveman out there? He has a purple T/A in Drag Radial and his Red Firebird is in Heavy Street.

Looking good guys.

I see you dropped to 8th position and Majior took #1 with a 7.33 @ 207mph..

Thats nuts...... they say the Throttle body was cracked on that pass too.
Turn her up Tom. You guys can do it.

Steven, yes we were running the 114. The track was pretty tricky on Friday and it started to really come around yesterday. Unfortunately we've been fighting ignition issues in the Big Stuff for quite a while and we still couldn't get those to go away.

Needless to say we won't make the call for first round. We cracked a cylinder head and all the water came out through the exhaust on one of the holes. It's pretty much a shitty way to go out, but it is what it is. Thanks to Paul Major for offering up his spare long block. Unfortunately it's something that we wouldn't have been able to easily get to work in Tom's car.

We would have given any racer anything they needed as well. Not only did Paul offer up some help but we did get help from Tony Nesbitt and Gil Mobley's crew in lending us a welder so that we could make some repairs There were a lot of class act racers there and we had a good time. Just wasn't the way we wanted to go out.

I think its pertty amazing that even though everybody talks mad **** to each other on the boards. But then on the filp they are all willing to help out with large offers in the time of need. Sounds like class acts by all! It sucks with the damge but there is always next time.
