Default FM14 Goes 11.4 @ 120 Cam only - 6spd w/ Video

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_2gGnmVe2IE

Second run in the video.

1.66 60'
7.3 @ 95.6 1/8th
11.4 @ 119.9 1/4th

I was not powershifting during the run, but I was quick shifting. I know I was giving up a tenth and mph or so by not powershifting.. the track just wasn't hooking nor holding good and when I powershifted on a run prior I was breaking the tires loose in second and third.

Car specs are forged 347, diamond pistons with lunati rods.
LS6 Intake, ASP Pulley
Stock, unported 241 heads.
FM14 Cam, 232/234 .598/.600 112LSA
SLP LT Headers. 2.5 Custom true duals

MAIL ORDER Futral Tune

Spec 3+
Moser 12, 4.11's.... BMR LCA, TA, Panhard.
26x10.5 ET Streets which I think need to become 28x11.5's REAL fast.

Stock front suspension. Stock shocks and springs all the way around.

Raceweight was 3375 with me, and I am 220 lbs.

DA was +900 on the runs.

Overall I am happy. Funny thing was I ran 93 in the 1/8th and trapped 119 earlier in the day, but when I ran 95 in the 1/8th I still only trapped 119 in the 1/4th lol. I am not going to pick on the car too much, it's going in for a dynotune / fuel pump / window switch for the nitrous install soon. Hopefully get somewhere in the bottom 10's stock heads with a 150 shot.

Nice run. What rpm are you leaving at and are you dumping the clutch?

How not? The heads are still stock. Bottom ends don't add power unless they add compression which mine did not.

Our track just reopened on Jan 31st. Your car was the basis for what I was trying to achieve with my car. I trapped 95 in the 1/8th but the car fell off on the top end. I think with a dyno tune once I finish the nitrous it should run even better on motor.

Cool, If you have any questions feel free to PM me.

I went right to 28s, but I think you can keep the 26s for a while. If you go 28s remeber there slow you down, and you need more gear to go with them. I'd see how the car dose on 100hit with those tires and gear. What do you have for a rear sway?

Just because it doesn't add power, doesn't mean that it's still stock. Cam only refers to the fact that everything else is stock and you put a "cam only" in the car. I guess it's like the guys who say they have "stock suspension". Just because it's located in the stock spot doesn't make it stock suspension. But to each his own. Either way, good results.
