First time at the track... What do you think?
1/8 mile track unfortunately
7.82 @ 88mph, 1.91 60ft
Unfortunately, I couldn't get a nitous pass in because the bottle had a bad seal.
Do yall think the car has more left (with a better driver)? I was stoked to get into the 7s.
I think she needs to lose some weight. The AC might be coming out (doesn't work anyway).

elevation was 600ft.
Temp was in the 72 degrees with around 40% humidity.
Car is full weight ++. Has a sound system and 9" rear end. Also has about 30 lbs of nitrous accessories (15lb bottle, nano kit, wiring ext.) as well as sub-frame connectors, LCAs, Panhard bar, and Denny's nitrous ready DS.
In other words, it is probably close to 4,000#s with me in it (maybe a bit more).

wtf? the car trapped 88 with 452 whp @ a 700' elevation? something is definately wrong. the weight might be accounting for 2-3 mph at most vs. a "normal" fbody without all of the crap in it.
my bolt on automatic car went 7.6 @ 88 at 2800' with a 3700lb raceweight. hell, my wife's 99 m6 ta with a lid and weld in flowmaster only, stock everything else...went 8.3 @ 88. something is f'd up, you have very good parts, that car should easily be going low 7s on a decent tire. how was the transmission shifting? you're losing like 85whp somewhere from your sig to the racetrack...

I am leaning toward th400 instead of replacing the clutch. The ls7 was fine until I hit it with the N2O..... Has never been the same since.
Have replaced the hydrolics... I am thinking it is the pressure plate.
Anyhow, I figured the car had some left. Didn't know it was 6/7 tenths though.

The transmission is fine from 1st-2nd... However, it sticks from 3rd-4th... I need a new clutch.

I think your car should be a little faster... thats a low 12s / High 11s 1/4 mile pass... but weigh would play into that as well as the 1.9 60ft.
I think mid 7 N/A and on the gas... in the 6s... maybe mid 6s if you can hook up.

ah. perhaps the trans is the problem. i am unaware of how "well" you drive, but even a poor driver with power like that would be quicker. i'm a fan of automagics anyway, i say go with a th350 and 4500 stall, then call it a day. say hello to 7.teens and a required rollcage.
