As the subject line says, this was my first time ever to a track either as a driver or spectator. It was SOOOOOOOOO much fun. I'd say it was the adult equivalent to being a kid and going on a roller coaster ride.

So tell me, how'd me and the ol' C5 do?

I have to bring it back to the shop, was bouncing off the rev limiter in the 2-3 shift. I'm sure that cost me some E/T and MPH...wonder how much though?

Big props to the folks at Island Dragway in NJ...great bunch of friendly staff and racers there.

i'm running Toyo T1R's. Next time out I'm gonna try launching a little more aggressive and shoot for a 1.6 60ft

I have heard every time you hit the rev limiter its costs you a tenth. Congrats on the 11s.

Bigger converter and some drag radials and it would run 11.50's all day.

Congrats !! Put a 4000 yank in your ride, I bet that could have been and 11.5 or better with a good set of DR's.
