1st time on the track
1st time on the track I ran my 99 Z28 at the track Thursday night for the first time. Now I am hooked and wanna go faster.
Car only has a lid on it.
Ran a 8.81 at 82 MPH
Is there anything I can do to get it quicker till I do my H/C/I Swap?

try to find a good 6 speed rear or upgrade your gears and get a stall . If its a M6 you can do the basics . LT headers & exhaust , dyno tune ,free mods and suspension .Then save up for a 12 bolt or 9" .

Auto or M6 ?? If its a auto ,check which gears you have . If you have 323's pop a stall converter in it . If you have 273's try to find a good 6 speed rear or upgrade your gears and get a stall . If its a M6 you can do the basics . LT headers & exhaust , dyno tune ,free mods and suspension .Then save up for a 12 bolt or 9" .

Next to nitrous a converter swap is a great way to pick up et. I reccomend that you start with a host of suspension goodies first though!

Lots of things you can do.. go to the gen 3 external engine section and start reading the stickys, you can do long tube headers, exhaust of some sort, under drive pulley, ported throttle body, ls6 intake, then get a stall converter and tires... that should put you in the mid to low 12 easy..
