Default first runs

So is this okay? average or not bad? its a full weight all stock 2000 z28 with a 4:10 gear. It has a A4 and 166K miles on it. track was hooking good, but damn the stock converter is tight and sucks. This was run last night at MIR in Maryland.

Yes street tires on factory ss wheels. I do plan to add long tubes, ory, magnaflow catback, ls6 intake, ported tb, sway bar removed, move the battery to the trunk area, 3800 vigilante converter, torque arm, lower control arms and pan hard bar. I also plan to do drag wheels with drag radial's.

Bas going to go with bbk but told that pacesetter would give me more HP and better results for the same money. They will be painted compared to chrome but I'm ok with that

Not bad for an LS1 intake car. I would definitely get an LS6 intake, headers, and a tune. I went with OBX headers, got stainless headers with ORY and all hardware for $475 shipped. Installed them myself and the fit perfect with plenty of clearance under the car. They all give about the same HP, so I wouldn't use that as a decision maker. Fitment and finish is much more important imo.

Was* going to go with bbk headers. Problem looking like the ball and socket clang being the choke point and smaller 2.5 inch y pipe.

I do want headers that are non-emissions and cleaning the under hood look up. Getting rid if everything I can that isn't needed having the emissions codes turned off etc. I wanted to wait for a tune till I did the cam.

Nice times with just 410 gears. a 3600-4000 stall will wake that car up.. I went with Hooker ceramic coded LT's/ORY on stock tune and I picked up from a 8.62@84.06 to 8.39@86.51 with just them mods..
