Default Few more passes and 2nd fastest time.

Had a blast of good weather roll in Thursday night for this this weekend,so decided to try for that 9'sec pass. Got the car repaired, new TQ arm bracket, new driveshaft(bent and broke slip yoke),checked out the trans, installed rear brakes and had to replace the gears(few ring gear teeth were stripped) all from the last trip to Hattiesburg,MS!

Car was running great and the track was working also, but I just couldn't get in the groove. oh well..next time.

Track was packed due to a points race on Saturday. Made 4 runs in 5 hrs A few cars broke and one car flipped and slid on the roof at the big end after a tire went out,he came out ok though.

Anyway, made 1st pass missed 4th 10.57@124. Second pass took it easy on the 4th shift 10.11@135.66. Third pass, didn't do a good burnout and shook the tires a little 10.11@135.78.

Last pass,first round of elminations,dialed in a 10.08,left about 6800

reaction .076
60' 1.335-new best 60'
330' 4.130
1/8 6.434
MPH 105.98
1000' 8.415
1/4 10.076
MPH 135.59

So I BROKE OUT! but it sure felt good, just knew this was the 9 sec pass, but just wasn't to be.

10.076 video

video 10.07 pass

So here comes a another Hattiesburg trip tomorrow

DAUM, that's some car you got there. Surprised that with that 60' and that MPH you haven't gotten that 9 sec pass yet. I'm sure it's coming.

What's done to the tranny that it's able to take that abuse?

I see you've lowered your PB some more. Congrats.

So I'll ask again, what's done to the tranny to withstand that kinda abuse?
Thanks.

Thanks. What would it cost for a rebuild w/o the pro-shifted parts? Something to handle 7000 rpm shifts and low 10 sec ETs on spray. TThanks.

We get $300 + parts. If you don't need any hard parts syncro kit,Billet 3-4 keys and 3-4 shift fork is $295.00
