World Street Race
Congrats to Brady and Team ***** Racing for being chosen to run in the World Street Race this weekend. A special thanks to MADMAN RACING / JBZ Race Cars for coming through for us and helping get the car ready in time. Picking up a motor in Houston and driving to Alabama to install it at midnight for a race the next day, is definitely taking care of your customers.... A++++
We were delt a tough hit first rattle out the box, when they had us change the 315/60 BFG's to a brand new set of 295's. The new tires seemed a little slippery and the 60 fts showed it. The car is still skating a little on the big end, but MADMAN has built a wing for the car (that looks bad ***) should help keep some down force on the rear. We were put out in the second round. In Qualifying, Brady was able to pedal the car down the track to a personal best of 8.77 @ 162 mph, which is not a slouchy time shaking it down.

thanks, and don't forget it was on pump gas with 11 degrees of timing...
1st round we spun to a 9.10 @ 165
2nd round I added 4 degrees of timing because we had to run the #1 qualifier and he'd been running consitant bottom 8.30's.. Either the brake didn't hold or my thumb flickered the trans brake, but I rolled through before the tree was activated.. staging these turbo cars takes some practice... But I ran it out the backdoor anyway and it was really strolling, the shiftlight was on for about the last 300 ft.. had to be a 170+ blast..
We'll get em next time.
oh yeah, 3580# raceweight
