Default First time with the car...

Took the car to 41 with a couple other guys.

It was about 80 degrees or so once I got there so I was not going to expect anything great out of my stock car. Definitley was a little too warm.

Mods are SLP Loudmouth, MTI lid and a few free mods. It is an A4 with 2.73's. I was running Nitto 555's on the back (not the DR's) @ 24PSI.

Here is what I came up with...
60 FT--- 2.078
330FT---5.886
1/8 ET---8.975
1/8 MPH--- 80.46
1/4 ET--- 13.786
1/4 MPH---101.52

Yea it is nothing crazy but I was happy with my 60's.
Any insight on these times?

Trap seems a bit low, but that could just be a gearing issue.

Looks alright for nearly stock. Get that converter in there with some sticky tires and your 60's should drop big time. Even with more seat time you could probrably improve on your times with what you have.

I also thought my traps were low. I was expecting around 104-105 but I guess it has to do with the weather. Oh well, it was fun... Good to be back at the track. Last time I took a pass down the 1320 was about a year ago driving my WRX with full exhaust

Are you pulling your 1.6 60's with the 555R's?

Yeah, they where the 555Rs. I was running a 315/35/17 on a 9.5" wheel. Mention that combo anywhere else on this site and you'll get a slap on the wrist from a few people.

Hey man, whatever works! I plan on running the 555R's on my stock wheels, or possibly even the MT Dr's, not to mention one of these options will be used in the rain, another slap on the wrist

I just bought the M/Ts for 15x10 Prostars. They are a really soft tire and should work great. I think running them in the rain is asking alot though, not to much tread, looks like they'd hyroplane easily. I've daily driven in the summer with 555Rs (front and rear) since I bought the car and never had any issues in the rain.

Two of my friends run that tire on a 9" rim. No issues - yet. Mustang guys are always doing that, especially the Cobras.
