Default First time out with the formula

Last friday i went to the track to make some runs with my new car, and it wasnt the best conditions for racing just to say. 90* with 50% humidity and no track prep at all. I got in 10 runs so ill just post a couple. BTW its an A4, and every run i was spinning or getting some wheel hop. The first run i spun so much that when it shifted to 2nd i actually chirped the tires.

First run of the day at 5:05 with 1,000 RPM stall.
60ft: 2.247
1/8th: 9.131 @ 80.314 mph
1/4: 14.045 @ 99.648

Second run at 5:20 with no stall.
60ft: 2.134(best 60' of the night)
1/8: 9.003 @ 80.458
1/4: 13.889 @ 99.446

4th run at 6:00 w/ no stall
60': 2.192
1/8: 9.041 @ 80.763
1/4: 13.920 @ 99.674

6th run at 7:22 w/ no stall
Dial in: 14.00
60': 2.188
1/8: 9.077 @ 80.259
1/4: 13.982 @ 98.801 (tapped the brake after the speed trap)

8th run at 8:18 w/ no stall
Dial in: 13.96
60': 2.152
1/8: 9.007 @ 80.709
1/4: 13.883 @ 101.273 ( hammered the brake right after the speed trap)

10th run at 9:16 w/ no stall
Dial in 13.90
60': 2.203
1/8: 9.047 @80.783
1/4: 13.923 @ 99.767

these runs are probably a little slow for a stock LS1 but it was f-in hot and humid out and there really wasnt much time for cool down once eliminations started. But i am pleased with the results and now have something to build on, my next mods will probably be intake, exhaust(maybe) and some DR's. There was another stock LS1 camaro there but he never broke out of the 14's, he was running like 14.20s and my dad saw him run at 15 at one point and his was also an A4 But atleast my car was the best looking car out there.

Hey thanks. It was just high school racing so for eliminations they give you a card and they punch it if you win or lose so no matter what you get to race 5 times. It kind of sucks because its not really competitive and no one is the over all winner.

try putting the rpm around 2100. and as the 3rd yellow hits let off the brake and start pushing on the gas... your not gonna redlight and i have got my bes6 60fts with that. 2.02 60ft on fuzion 245 street tires.

Can i even get that high in RPM's with a stock TC? And do you mean mash the gas or give it like 50% until it feels like it hooks then go 100%, cause i kind of tried that and it didnt work very well, i still spun like a little bitch.
