Default First time track results

Well this was my first time at the track and overall im pretty disapointed. Ive only had the car for 3 months and its my first stick(im only 18). Mods and car in sig. 68k miles on the clock, race weight was 3810(190lbs of me plus a system and a heavy toolbox). It was probably 75 degrees or so at San Antonio raceway. Tire pressure was at 27 psi in street tires, and i dint do a burn out, and i didnt powershift.

1st run: 60 ft: 2.5643
1/8 ET: 9.455
1/8 MPH: 81.54
1/4 ET: 14.2096
1/4 MPH: 103.93
Had asr on

2nd run: 60 ft: 2.4109
1/8 ET: 9.2659
1/8 MPH: 81.42
1/4 ET: 14.1689
1/4 MPH: 97.21
Missed 4th

3rd run: 60 ft: 2.5013
1/8 ET: 9.4093
1/8 MPH: 80.73
1/4 ET: 14.2263
1/4 MPH: 102.37

4th run: 60 ft: 2.3287
1/8 ET: 9.1720
1/8 MPH: 81.23
1/4 ET: 13.9515
1/4 MPH: 103.23

I came to the track hoping for a mid 13. I didnt want to launch the car to hard, obviously just look at my 60 ft times, because i didnt want to chance breaking anything. After the first 3 runs i was a little more aggresive on the launch just so i could break in the 13s. Is a 13.95 a good ET for a 2.32 60 ft? I know next time i go i will be even more agressive on the launch, i barely squealed the tires on the last run and not at all on the first 3.

Does everything look right considering my car and its mods? What do yall think? What could i get out of it with a 2.15 60 ft?(which i think i could do next time)
Thanks in advance.

yes a 13.95 is about right for that 60'...next time take out the sub and toolbox...ride the clutch out and you should be able to get 2.0X on street tires...that will translate to mid/low 13s at 106ish.

there is definately potential there. good luck!

the car can go to low 13s but you defineetly need to improve your 60'... dude 2.5 ?? my worst was 2.4 and i spun all the way through the 1st and game was over right there! then on my second run, i did 1.93 on stock rubber, on 18'' wheels and ran 13.6 on my stock 06 stang GT. practice more and get some better numbers.. LS1 = god!

i cut 2.1s but my 1/8th mile sucks for some reason, and the 1-2 shift is pretty damn quick, it just seems my car lacks on the low end compared to most cars here with similar mods. Its sad when i get beat by guys who 60ft could be in the 2.3 range with less mph! doh!

do some free mods if you haven't already. For a cheap mod get a cut out from summit. Should help w/ time. And course practice.

Well there are lots of factors, elevation, temp, were you powershifting, your race weight, etc. You are probably just a better driver than me.
