My 15 minutes of fame on Pinks All Out
First Off, I would like to thank Jamie Lynn and Patrick Collins for the excellent job as my pit crew, and kevin thanks for your help and advice. Second, the car has ran a 6.08 at 114mph on 100 shot, runs 6.62 at 105mph on motor in the 1/8. 10.46 at 127.9mph in the 1/4 on motor. I was picked in the sweet sixteen lineup at pinks all out in Rockingham. Whoever didn't go missed a great time. They said there were twenty thousand spectators. I won every pass I made except for the one that counted and lost by .004 in the first round. They said it was the closest race ever on pinks. I am not sure when it will air but will let everyone know as soon as I find out. I had a wonderful time and would do it again in a minute. Here are some pictures my wife took. All the guys from the pinks crew were really cool people.

Congrats!
Good to see a Tech member make it that far.
I competed in the Pinks All-out last September at Ennis. It was a joke because they claimed they were going to pick "street legal" cars. Maybe 3 or 4 of the sweet 16 could have made it a few blocks before getting pulled over.
Didn't mean to go negative. Looks like you had a great time and I'll keep an eye out for "your" episode.

Very cool! Congrats on getting picked - the car looked (and performed) excellent!
I was in the Silver F150 pulling the blue SS that you met on I40 and travelled with some on 220 - the black Trans Am being pulled by the black Z71 was 5LTREATR on this board.
Had a great time - can't wait to see the episode!

congrats on getting picked. we missed the final 16 by a gnats ***. we carried a buddies car down and we ran a 10.34 and on the run with Rich flagging he hit the rev limiter on the one two shift so we felt that would have slowed us enough to get in the 10.50 class. I had fun and i will be putting my car in the next one.

I did the Year One thing last year and its a great event. You need plates/insurance to run and I dont have mine registered anymore since I have 'race car' insurance on it now, so I'm out of that one. I'll hit he all-out thing in Bristol if I can get in on time, that one will sell out a lot quicker then this one did so have to keep checking their website.
