New results with ET Heads
Some of you might be following my thread in the dyno section. For those who are not up to speed
1980 malibu
346 forged motor from speed inc
ETP 215 heads out of box
Unported fast 90/90
Speed inc custom cam
12/1 compresssion
4l60e trans with yank nitrous convertor.
Car made 457 rwhp on motor. Locked convertor
Car dynoed car last week on 150 shot it made 620rwhp locked convertor
Went to Cordova and got some good air.
Best hp pass on 17 inch et street radials
1.60 60ft
7.06 1/8 et
96.69 1/8 mph
11.12 1/4 et
121.22 1/4 mph
Couldn't get a clean nitrous pass(couldn't hook up) Car wouldn't **** on the 2-3 shift.(need to lower shift point a little)
1.44 60ft
6.51 1/8 et
104.4 1/8 mph
10.29 1/4 et
131.16 1/4 mph
The 1/8 is down a little because of the 2-3 shift.
I'm very happy with the results. With some more time and traction car should go 10.0 on the 150 hit.
I plan on spraying 200-250 with this setup.
I want to thank everyone at Speed Inc for helping me dial in the new combo. Might try one more time to get that 9.99 pass before the snow hits

I wish I was able to make a pass at 10am. My first pass wasn't untill like 11:30 am. Hopefully the weather will hold out for byron this sunday. I'm still on a quest for my first 9 second pass.
