cutting on either side of shock towers...
Will this significantly decrease the structural integrity of the car on the street? Im not trying to go to a fully tubular front end.

I know dlove drilled all the spot welds and removed the front part. Maybe ask him about it, on the street and such. The rear would suck for all the dirt and ****. I know somone without the form wheel wells and it fills the door jams up with stones. So you can run just the rear part of the sheild. But it would be bad for water still.

The front half of mine are cut. If the roads are clean I dont get anything in the engine bay. I have got caught in the rain and it got kinda dirty under the hood.
The pieces in the front are very thin and have min support. If I was to do it again, I would leave them. Once people see those cut out, they think the rest of the car is cut completely out. However it is nice to stand in the hole to work on the engine lol.
