Default New best with bolt ons

60' - 1.705
1/8 - 7.83 @ 87.27
1/4 - 12.33 @ 109.74

Mods: pt4400, shift kit, headers, ory, ls6 intake, ported throttle body, 15" wheels on et streets with 20psi in them. I was suprised it dead hooked with that much air. Usually I run 14-15 but was trying something different.

Kinda disappointed in the 60'. I was expecting more from this converter off the line. Doesnt seem to hit as hard as my old ss4000 but it does have good top end.

Any thoughts on why the 60' is only 1.70?

I know a guy (I think he's on here) with an '02 Z28 who went 11.76 IIRC with that same converter and similar bolt ons, 3.23 gears. I believe he did some suspension work so his 60 ft was much lower than 1.7.

I have a much smaller 3700 stall and got a 1.59 bolt-ons. Maybe too much converter?

It might be flashing just a few hundred rpm past peak torque but I dont think thats it. Once I get a cam tho it wont be in question. This converter came out of an 11.0x stock internal car cutting 1.4x short times. I dont see 373s or 410s making up a tenth in the 60.

My car is very similar. Same mods, except I have some weight taken out but with the stock tires (on a m/t). Went 12.35 sunday with a 1.66 60' @107.3 mph. Are you flashing the converter or stalling it up?

IF the converter was built around a 410 gear, it should make a difference.

Unless I get a deal, I dont want to put money into the 10 bolt, ive been down that road before.

Stalling to around 2000 seems to work the best.
