Why is my car so slow??
Just installed my Headers and was hoping for low to mid 12's
12.70 @ 107.97 1.86 60' NA
I raced another bolt-on Camaro, who only had a converter and LT's. He also ran a 12.7.
Why?? What should my times be with my mods? (HP below is before LT's)
I guess maybe I am too heavy.

I'm guessing you raced in crappy air or you shift points are too low.
5.30 330
8.15 @ 89.09
12.7 @ 107.97
Shift points are set @ 6000 with EDIT. But EFI shows the shift @ 6600

Your times seems way off for your mods, what elevation are you at. MpH seems to fall off bad after your 1/8 mile, this is a track time right not a G-tech. Take it back to get retuned, good luck.

You ran those times at the dirt pit? {c-bad}. As crappy as that track is you should of gone at least 12 flat. It is all in the tuning. Mike took 8 tenths off my original tune. It is well worth the money, considering how much you have already spent to go fast.

boomcase, the track is near sea-level.
mjf454, you telling me. I would have been very happy to run low 12's NA. Then low 11's on the N20. And yes, it was @ Carlsbad.
I plan on tuning it myself with EDIT.
Dyno Day is on the 22nd. So I can get a baseline.

Ed, with all due respect, swallow your pride and pay to have that dog tuned. Tuning is probably the most important thing when you have as many mods as you do. With your weight a better/bigger convertor would hurt either (I’d go with a custom TCS 3200-3600).

Pride isn't stopping me right now to have someone else tune. I want to give it a try first, since I already have EDIT.
Now if I can't get it right. I will spend the $$$.
I have been thinking about a converter change also. Something aroung a Vig 3200

Well my A/F was way off. 14.2
Richen it up and did a bit better at the track
12.58 @109.51 1.84 60'
12.64 @111.28 1.86 60'
Gain 4 mph. Getter better. Once I get the AF down, time to play with the timing.
