Another suspension "help me" thread.
I took the car out last weekend to run a 7.0 index. Well I sprayed a 100 shot out of the hole and in first gear only. The reason for that is because the converter is a little tight for my current combo. so I set the window switch to come on at 2500 and shut off at 5300 so that it wouldn't spray through any other gears. Mind you I was going out to run record ET's, I just wanted to run in the 6.9x range since I was index racing.
Anyway, the car had a very violent tire chattering feeling from the launch to around the 60ft. It didn't quiet feel like a spin but more like a shake. It chattered so bad that my ashtray lid and little cubbyhole thing popped out completely every pass I made. The car did not have sub frames in it at the time and I also forgot to add air to the airbag (Had about 10lbs in it.). I ran anywhere from 14-17lbs of tire pressure and it made no difference I also played with the suspension just a little. Tires are 275/60/15 MT DR's. I have one picture of the car leaving and it twists pretty good. Here's the suspension list.
-QA1's in all four corners
-BMR Extreme Trq. Arm
-Pass. side airbag
-Subframes (going in this week)
Anyone have any baseline tips I can go from? Here's what the slips look like and how the car is leaving.
