Anybody else street driving with a speedglass rear window?
I have been but am still afraid to do so at high speeds with the windows down. I don't have the any trim around it at the moment, but all that was holding the stock glass in was the glue, right?

I recently had the stock glass in my 95 changed because some ******* broke it. The trim on the edges is simply for looks. I had the guy cut the good hatch out of a parts car I own and install it in my 95 dd. The factory glue that holds the hatch glass in is super strong. As long as you are using something comparable I don't see an issue at all.

From: somewhere that doesn't get snow
what he said. i had the trim replaced on my 95 since the top portion of it was missing when i bought it. we had to remove the hatch to stretch the trim around the top but it has nothing to do with the structural integrity of the window.

did you guys get your shipped rolled up in a tube?? I was getting a groupe buy to rochester for 5 of the tinted ones, and it wasnt that great of a deal on groupe shipping. And my friend that endded up getting one was kinda pissed, that they rolled the window up like a carpet, and it was in a small long box!

i orderd both front andrear for my car and the shipped seperate rear came rolled up and ad a 175lbs roll of welding wire hidden inside it when it got to me. Also it shipped ups ground and then the front shipped by itself flat in a box and guess what that also shipped ground my rear window also required triming even tho it was suposed to be direct fit pretinted. other than those problems i like them but feel i over paid
