battery in drop down box off frame rail?
edit* DONE... Thought you may all want to see. I still need to cut a piece of plastic to protect the battery from whatever the passenger tire kicks up.

Not to bad. Keep in mind that this is NHRA legal and now 35# of battery are keeping the passenger tire planted... I designed the battery support from aluminum and had a local guy weld it up. I also welded two 4" angle steel to the frame and bolted the battery support to the frame, so the setup is easily removable.

There is an aluminum hold down. I should have taken a better pic with the rear bumper off.

looks good, but might want to make sure you bring the tools, etc. when going through tech if they ask to see the hold down from the top.
