I'd like to see pics under the good and under the car. I know most were running peteZ bars w/ the TA still, and open TB no maf, or a funnel on some cars.

The PC Richards car and Angelo Ditocco's car are Superstock.
I know the Ditocco car well. It has one of our engines in it. It holds the SS/HA National Record.
The Stull car with Lee Zane driving was the Stock Champion in 2008.
Here are a few pictures of the team cars. All cars have held National Records at least once except the GTO.

I used to drive the black car. I suck as a driver. I cannot see what the car is doing to make changes. I build and tune and chief wrench on the Stockers. I help on the Super Stock cars when needed. We have no shortage of people who want to drive. I do not own any of the cars myself but it is very complicated team effort. Too long for typing. Lets just say I have some very serious input.
Most guys run open headers. There is power there if you pick the right ones and they are not cheap.
No chassis pictures. The ones already posted are pretty typical. No sway bars for us or rear disc brakes.
The car with no passenger seat is only allowed in Top Stock to make min weight otherwise there must be two factory seats.

To put some of the internet fast guys in perspective, that yellow car with "Corda" on the side has been in the nines. That is with a stock TB, manifold, un-ported heads, stock compression ratio, valve sizes, displacement, etc. Almost a "cam only" car around here.
That is the crowd Stock1090 and I race with. Sharp bunch of guys.

The reason guys have changed the front ends is because NHRA did not have specs for the LS1 until late and allowed the LT to run in the 98 car. So if you have that front end you can run the LT and claim it is a 98 or the LS and claim it is a 99.

We mostly race up here. I wish I could get more time off of work and wife approval to go to races like that. I think I used up all of my husband points having our honeymoon at a race.
It has been cold up here and has slowed down getting the Silver car ready. Dyno session in Dec was snowed out. Two engines still out being redone. Had the Silver car on the dyno yesterday and made some really good numbers. It was not supposed to snow but it did. I made it snow free till about 1/2 hour away from the shop and then the roads were snow covered. Not a comfortable feeling with a dualie and trailer.

They run a different class than the LS1. They are classified by shipping weight divided by hp. The LS1 is rated higher, thus at the same weight runs a higher class. Super Stock is also. My LT1 runs SS/JA, which is a "10 lb class", 10lbs per hp. NHRA rasied the hp rating on the LT1 in SS, to 279, up from 275. So, at ten lbs per hp, plus 170 for driver weight (I weigh a tad over 170 ) so I would have to weigh 3239 (But, they round down to the nearest 5 lbs because many scales only weigh in 5 lb increments) therefore my car and I have to weigh 3235. Is Stock, NHRA has hit the LTs many times, I think they are now 340 hp. The LS1 has had a few "gifts" also, not sure at what they are rated now.
