Hey Guy's

Here are a few more pictures. Dennis at DMC is just finishing the updateing the car to the new 25.3 spec. He sent me some shots of the rear and will be sending me some front one's in the next few days. As I get them I will update for everyone to see.

We are hoping to have it done mid summer.

I think some of the set back may be body parts. I want to get a carbon nose and back bumper. I also want to do carbon doors and carbon hatch that still use the stock hing set up and not a lift-off type. I just want it to be light weight stuff and still look stock. I have a Van Overbeek Hood so I'm good their. If anyone knows about something like that or has some of his parts for sale please let me know

As for Goal's

I just want it to run and drive. LOL

We are not sure set up in 275 trim. The motor combo I'm thinking about doing is not really to good for a 88mm Turbo.

Now with a 106mm and a set of 315's I would think it should have enough power to go 7.30's or better. Saying it is easy we just have to get it to do it.

The deal is I just want it to run well and have fun. EK

Great to have you on this site Eddie.

great looking build you have there. The guys at DMC do some great work.
You should have no problem running quicker than 7.30's with a 106-we went 7.20's on 7 cyls with one

look forward to the updates.

I would think so. I can't wait to get it done. It's all just starting to come together.

Shawn

I thinking more on the safe side of it. I'm sure once I get it up and going and get a chance to tune on it will run well. I just don't want to shoot myself in the foot. The biggest issue will be getting it to be a little lighter.

Thanks Ed

Eddie, I think your ultimate goal, should be to go faster then you've gone on the bike

That, would be setting the bar pretty damn high, and would make for a great story too, nevermind really laying the gauntlet down in the ls world

Car seems to be coming along nicely Eddie. I just bought precision 114 but kept my 106 as well. . Burkhart built my chasis but I had to get the 25.3 extra bars updated. Got the Joe O hood and Ive been following a few other members front nose peice ideas for a stock appearing whole front end removal. These boys now R flying in dragradial.

Nice seeing you on here Eddie. I'm glad you know were the **** is at! LS1>everything else.. I have been a hard core GM fan for a long time. I've got a 04 2500 crew cab 4x4, 2000 camaro SS modded a bit, a 93 mustang with a 383 LS1 and my wife drives a 03 envoy SLT.

I met you this year during the Nationals at the Matco dinner night at the shop. The night big daddy was there and Antron had his little man up there with them lol.

This project looks like it is going to be a killer when completed. I will be subscribing to this one. Good luck and I hope it is a enjoyable adventure. I hope to see it out testing at ORP this summer. I am usually there on Thur day nights testing.

I want to see that deuce.. My next project will be a pro touring car. Hopefully a 69 camaro with a LSx motor setup..

Yes, they are. Every time you turn around someone is going quicker. It's almost like you can't finish your build before you are already dated.
