Need help with front spring rates
Been pulling my hair out over the fact that i can get the front to just hop up about 3 inches off the ground but then it just drops. Got looking at it tonight and seen that for some stupid reason I have a set of 300lb springs on the front, thought that i needed more like a 175-200lb spring with a front end weight of 1700lbs. Need some advice, the car in question is the one below.

I would highly recommend calling Madman or one of his guys at their shop tomorrow and have someone there with some real experience guide you in what you need for what you want out of your car. You don't need somebody telling you what their cousin's friend's brother ran on his car 5 years ago that set the world on fire IMO...

What motor are you running? Alum or CI? I have a set of Strange coilovers w/ 275lbs Hypercoils that I am going to install this weekend. I have a 6.0l that I hope to put in soon so I was curious if the extra weight will be to heavy for the 275lbs springs.

Not always, it's more a car weight thing. If the car's at about 3200 lbs or less, the 275 will be fine, you may even be able to get a 275 to work on a 3400 lb car, but it all depends where the weight is in the car when you start getting that heavy, and how violent the launch is, etc. Nothing is a set rule, I've seen 3000 lb cars run a 275 spring and a 325 spring, and both work. Not saying that's right either, but it's possible

After looking checking and calling around I found that i have a dead spring. They wont compress or extend, put them on the spring checker at work and they are junk. Would not recommend any QA1 stuff, going to buy some hypercoil springs tomorrow probably going to go with a 275. Will defiantly know this weekend if it is the fix or not, from what everyone is telling me that i am going in the wright direction.
