What tire pressure with 19in c6 wheels
I'm going to cedar falls 1/4 mile for the first time tomorrow and I'm wondering how much psi I should inflate my tires to.
They are oem 19 c6's with 285/35/19 eagle f1 runflats... I hope they will hook on the track but I have no idea what to expect... hook pretty shitty on the street in 1st but I understand thats not what they are meant for.
I'll be happy if I'm in the 12's for sure.
Also a ford buddy told me not to do a water burnout before I run... any truth to this?
Thanks guys

Good luck getting on the track not doing a water burnout... There's no room. Don't heat them up too much or else the rubber will ball up and give you less traction. Just a quick little burnout and then roll into the throttle when the lights come down, I've never had street tires hook, even at low power levels.

you can try starting around 20-21 psi, and go down from there, but i wouldnt go below like 17psi.
ive never heard of a burnout hurting, you dont need a john force style burnout, get them spinning, sit for 5-8 seconds and let off the brake and roll out. that worked best when i was still on kuhmos
