Default ET Streets or MT Drag Radials

Last year I was running the MT Drag Radial 235/60/15 and it hooked well even after the cam swap.
This winter a 3600 stall is going in and wonder if I should stay with a drag radial or move to a ET Street.
I have new wheels coming and was going to run the MT DR in a 255/50/16 with front runners.
From what I understand the radial tire is quicker as long as it hooks. I think I should be OK on a radial --just looking for experiences.

Trust me, stick with the drag radial. The bias -ply M/T ET streets recommend a tube, you can run without tubes but it will sway like ***** on the top end.

I tried both. The mt et street were old and worn out vs the mt et st radials but holy cow, those bias plys were scary as hell man! Thought I was gonna end up with my tail in the wall!
But since trying those 2 tires iv tried hoosier DRs and I like these the best.

I say def stick with the radial. My mph was always higher, seemed to be more consistant, and I never had a problem hooking. Radials FTW!

Bunch of sissies. I run slicks and don't feel the car is unstable or anything. You guys can't drive,my car pulls the front wheels and goes straight as hell.
If you go bias forget m/t. I had no luck with them. the M&H Racemaster out hooks them by far. I run the 26x11.5x15 cheeter slick. I have also used the 26x11.5x16 and they were great too even in the 16'' rim. People all run m/t because they are popular and they don't try and see if something works better. I have tried m/t,hoosier and the m&h. M&H Makes a drag radial too,I hear it's great but i never tried it.

I've run both bias and radial...if your an auto, you don't need a slick. I never had floaty issues with the bias though

1.43 60's footbraking with the MT ET drag radial, dead-hooking. Didn't have much luck with the ET streets, so I gave the radials a shot, and needless to say I won't be going back to ANY slick. Bunch of sissies who need slicks...

Video in sig.

1.24 sixty on a 275 drag radial. Why run a et street if you can go fast on a radial?

hoosier 255x50x16 dr is what works for me. probably wont last as long as the mt but they do hook better imo and my 60ft times prove it 1.405 best n/a and 1.344 on a 100shot

We are talking about M/T Et Streets here, not just any slick in general. I run Hoosier slicks with no tubes and have no sway what so ever on the hill.
