I have halfe of my Jeg's 10 point already and am waiting on the hoop and halo to show up today. It's just Steel. No matter what you get with maybe the exception of a bolt in you will have to modigy. No point in paying 40% markup on a wolfe cage that is cosmetically nicer to some with the bends in the bars that make the cage actually weaker. Some of the ends are notched already on the jeg's cage, but not all. You have to cut bars to length and notch some of the ends.

I also have the jegs bar(8point mild steel) like 4mulaJoe said, it has some notching but it requires some work. For the $150+ I paid, I feel I can do the rest of the fitting and save me some money on instead of going with wolfe. I just can't spend that much on notching and scribe marks to show you where the bars fit together. So if you have more time than money go with the jegs bar and put a little time into it and you will have yourself a decent bar. Another person on the board had the jegs bar in his ride, I forget who but it came out awesome, I *think* it was Fear the LS1(lee)

Yes, I bought mine (8 point) directly from Chassis Engineering. I live 40 minutes away from them. They are the supplier to Jegs and Southern Perforance Wharehouse etc. for chassis parts.
I bought my 8 point mild steel, included main hoop and enough straight tubes for 8 points plus 8 6"x6" mounting plates, ALL for $149.00. I also bought 2 swing out kits from them for like $35.00 each.
Now I shopped around for some local shops to do the installation the cheapest I found was $600 labor for the 6 points.
I decided to do it myself and instead of paying someone $600 I went and spent $500 on a kick *** Lincoln MIG welder and accessories, Argon tank, nice welding mask etc.
When I went to Chassis Engineering to pick up my parts I asked them for some scrap roll bar tubing and any metal they might have. They were really cool and hooked me up with some scrap parts. I went home and practiced using the new welder for a few hours, once I got my welder settings down and my bead was looking good I started on the installation. I started on a Sat morning and was 80% done that night. I was taking my time and going really slow too. I finished up the install the next morning.
So anyway I spent a little over $200 on roll bar stuff a little over $500 on the welder and a day and a half time. But what I got in return is, I now own my own welder (which I've used a 100 times already), experience welding (I have done a few roll bars for local guys for extra $$), and I got a sweet looking 6 point cage with swing outs that I know is installed perfect and cleanly.
If you have any mechanical skills and some tools I would say go for it yourself.
I used to have pictures of my interior on my web server but they haven't been there in a while. I will dig them up tonite and post them for you.
Good luck which ever way you go!
