Default First time slip, what do you think?

01' WS6, M6, Hooker LT's, D-1SC procharger. I'm only at about 460 rwhp right now, 7 lbs. Belt slip. This was done at sea level on street tires and I only got 1 run, so no time to practice.
60' 2.4
1/8 8.5 @ 92
1/4 12.77 @ 119

I'm gonna try some e.t streets this weekend, but it will be at almost 5000' elevation. The car ran 13.8 @ 103 stock at the high elevation.

Yikes, you better work on getting some traction!!!
Springs/LCA/Torque Arm/Gears/ET Streets/Adjustable shocks, etc. etc. etc.

Your mph indicates that you should be able to hit low 11's without any problem! Maybe pick up a couple more MPH and hit a 10, best case scenario of course. Alot depends on what you already have done, and you don't have a list of your current mods. What tranny? What gears? What kind of exhaust?
Need some more details of your setup.

The tranny is M6. Suspension is bone stock, for now. Only mods are the ones listed in first post. I'm gonna order a 9" rear next week. Once I get the 8 rib setup on the supercharger I should pick up another 30-40 rwhp so that should be worth maybe 2-3 mph I would think.

Yeah, but all that extra HP goes for not since you aren't able to get it to the ground. That 60' sucks. I would look into some ET streets. Suspension and traction would be my next place to work on. But 119 is a great MPH, and like stated above should get you in the low to mid 11s, WITH TRACTION

MPH is great. that 60' is all thats holding you back...im sure you know you're absolutely SKATIN' down the track. put some sticky tires on there and prepare to be amazed.

I'm gonna try some E.T streets tomorrow, we'll see how she does. Hopefully the rear end will hold together untill I can order a 9" next week.

Preload the rearend. Easiest way to do that is to get a linelock, set your front brakes, bleed out the clutch till the rearend begins to load up. When you launch, bleed out the clutch as you release the linelock. Then hammer it. With good tires and a good track this is about the only way to keep your 10 bolt in working condition.

It's a fine art to launch a higher horsepower M6. Personally, I would consider swapping to a full race automatic, but that has drawbacks as well.
