Bias ply skinnies w/dr rear?
who's running bias ply skinnies front with drag radials on the rear? getting some mixed advice, some say yay, some say nay, I run 125 mph plus at the end of the 1/4, usually run 275/40/17 radials on the back, have a good deal pending on some front skinnies with bias ply tires....
the way I understand it, bias skinnies front / radial rear is OK but not the other way around....
Thanks for the answers!

I use to run McCreary's rear (bias ply) and radial fronts on the street or track....track was fine...on the street the rear like to wonder a little.

I agree, I used radial fronts with Bias ply rears, it's just like driving without a front sway bar a person needs to know the cars limits. 20 years ago we didn't have a choice no one made a sticky radial. If a person wanted traction it was on a slick.
