finally 2 years in the making, 10's N/A
Well we had a private track rental on tuesday at MIR. Finally got my valve train problems figured out and we decided to head to the track for some testing.
I was having problems getting the car to dead hook all day, but was happy none the less.
had 4-5 passes in the 10's. 10.99 (missed 4th) 10.96 late in the day, 10.93 through mufflers and no short belt, and finally my best. 10.91
goes as follows
1.56 60ft
7.01 1/8
99.17 1/8 mph
10.91 E/t
126.9 MPH
Big relief to get into the 10's now its time to get the last little bit of suspension figured out before we spray it..
big thanks to F-body Central and thunder racing. With out the help of Jason and Jeff at F-body central, there car would still be in pieces. And to Paul and Jason from thunder, thanks for takin my calls and dealing with me after so many different things..

Looks like you got some new life again for racing That mph is very nice and the ETs as well. Has the car 60ft. lower before? What kind of DA are you seeing up there? I'm already in the +1800 down here

Thanks everyone.. it was just a big relief to just get there.. I can now focus on other things on the car and stop worrying about it..
Race wieght was 3375-3350..
john, yup still got my GTP heads, but I have a LG cam in there now. I'm also have a LSX 78mm intake. Probally going to get a 90mm and try that.
I have about 50lbs that i know I can take off it, plus I need to lose wieght off me.. So I should be legal for north vs south shootout.

Yeah the car was 60 footing better a few weeks ago.. dead hooking, but I was having some valve float issues, so I could not get the car to rev above 6000.. Fixed that and got a little more torque, so I have to figure out the 60ft again.
we had a great day for racig though.. it was around -200 on that pass. But I made a 10.96 pass when it was in the positive later in the day..
It was wierd, MPH never really dropped off, accept when I broke the Shifter LOL
