So long ago since Ive researched about it, but at the time I felt it was optimum to have a Moser 12 bolt with 3.73s gears and a detroit Trutrac as my choice of limited slip differential.

I have probably made 150+ Launches on my 12 bolt with slicks and it has held up fine since 2007. Although I have had a leaky pinion seal for years now.

Not bad. so with my suspension mentioned in the first post of this thread (my shock settings and whatnot), what improvements can I make with my current suspension components..

Oh btw, I have UMI SFC and Torque arm. lower and upper A arms, lighter K member, etc. (I didnt think this all matters as much as my shock settings ).

The car also has a 6 point rollcage, but the rear bars are welded to the rear shock tower.

446 RWHP here and Hoosiers did ok for me. John Deere pushed me towards the MT et Drags and what a difference! Hoosiers best was 1.59 but not consistent. et drags low 1.50 and several 1.4x 60ft times. Strange singles and 275# springs upfront set at 3 and stock decarbons out back. 26x10x15S with 4.10 gear

Just took my turbo ls (7 LBS) to the track with 555r's with a 100K clutch and I got a louzy 2.2 60ft because of lazy takeoff. I hoping I can get to at least 1.6 60's with a diamond stage 2 clutch. I wonder if these 555's are gonna hold to a 4500K launch off the two step? ps...still trapped 116mph on a full weight car so I was encouraged.

and what might that be?

(I already have Bogarts on when I drag race)

I have 26x10x15 Hoosiers now (D06)

If I go 28x10.5x15 Hoosiers (stiff wall) how much heavier will that honestly be? Even if it is heavier, I think it will help me 60' better. I have the power, I just need a better suspension setup. But since my car was meant to be a DD/track car (Not drag) I have my suspensions set up for that.

when I am in drag form I have my swaybar removed and have my bogarts/slicks on. I think 28" will be just fine.

i run the hoosier 28x10.5 stiffs but if your not willing to put more gear in it i think id stay with the 26" myself. ive been high 1.2 60s on the 28 and high 1.3s on a 26x8.5 hoosier. i like to run them around 13lbs with tubes

if your car is still nosing over a bit on the launch you need to leave a bit harder. even if your spinning a bit more.

have you checked your pinion angle? whats it set at? do you have lca relocation brackets on that rearend? those are a must being lowered and i would put the lca in the lowest hole.
