Nitto Tire pressure and rpm launch?
What RPMs do you guys launch with on an 02 M6 car, 3.42 gears, Hurst shifter and stock clutch. With Nitto 555r DR?
And what is your tire pressure at?
I've been trying to launch at 2.5k and just spin the tires. But anything under 2.5k the car bogs. What are you guys doing differently to get under 2.0 60'? Do you guys just let the clutch out all the way or just let it out slowly? Oh these Nittos arent brand new but they still have some meat left.

I can't entirely answer your question as I have an a4, but my best 60' on the nittos (1.74) was a 22 psi. At anything under 20 psi the tire seems to cup (at least that has been my experience). That's on a 275/50/15

are these 16 or 17" nittos, this will make a difference due to the difference in sidewall meat.
I like to run nittos at 18 psi, keep checking them after a pass, make sure they didn't raise PSI in the burnout.
Well reading what you are saying, may I suggest you look at a couple other things. If you can't find a sweet spot there may be other factors..lousy track prep, or a lack of some needed suspension/weight transfer on your car.
With a stock clutch you can try slipping it out a bit, just watch it, don't let it get to hot.

I ran that combo for a long time. I ran tires at 18-20 and left around 3300. I didnt dump the clutch, I just came straight off it. Released it fast, but no dump. Its a fine line . You slip it too much and clutch gets hot and slips. My best 60' were mid 1.8 with stock motor and trans.
