I've been thinking about getting a set of these to try out. I am going to race in the Fastest Street Car shootout in Orlando, FL this year. I'll be running drag radial class. The 32 car qualifying field last year was from 8.70-11.70 ET. I plan to be running 9's but will have to do with a drag radial tire. Those look pretty sweet.

Lee FWIW M&H is coming out with a 325-50-15 DR but it will cost more than the BFG's or new M/T's.

Hmm I think the 325-50's are going to too small for my current setup, I wonder what the diameter and circumference is on those. My car is setup (rear gear/converter etc) for MT 29.5 x 10.5 Drags, my MT's have a 29.5 actual tire height and a 94" rollout. I see M&H has a 390/45R15 which has a 29.5'' diameter but a 92.7'' rollout.

Heck I don't care about the price, I just want to be able to hook half way decent. I can control the launch rpm with the 2 step if need be.

These are drag radials correct? Do they make a 275/50/15? Thanks, they look nice.

they are in between a cheater slick and a drag radial. They are DOT approved.

The ones I have are 275/50/15

Can they be run with a radial front or will they handle horribly with a front radial? I have ET Streets in the rear with a Nitto up front and I hate the feeling. Thanks.

Great pics, thanks!!!

From what I was told by the guy at M&H, they will perform much better than their drag radial and they should be fine with a front radial. Of course, 'fine' for him may be different then 'fine' for you. I plan on getting these but my car will be in pieces until July (if I'm lucky).

I had a set of the M&H's (275/50/15's) on my car since the first of the year running a radial on the front and have had no problems driving at all..If fact our local track is a 160 mile round trip from my house and the tires drive very well even on La. Roads...

IMOP much better then a ET Street..

i believe those are bias ply tires and arent allowed in drag radial competition. someone should confirm this. they look like great street/strip tires though!

They are not radial, they are bias ply AFAIK.

That exactly why I bought them. Great street and strip tire. I want to drive to the track bust out high 10s low 11's and drive home. No tire swapping, no screwing around

That is the meaning of a true street/strip car imo
