Heck yea man. Thanks! I kind of just took everything one step at a time and it all fell into place. I am really happy with how it turned out. Cant wait to get it completely finished and making passes.

It sure does feel good to be driving this thing. I have almost a few hundred miles on it now. Im not too worried about it but I guess I better get going on setting it up and taking it to the track.

Finished the rest of the cage. Came out pretty good. Only took about 10 hours total. I spent a lot of time knotching and trimming with a porting bit to keep the gaps good. My buddy tigged it all in for me. Very pleased with it. Only dislike is that I went with the images on MWC website and the door bars are a little high. Been a while since I climbed over a cage so its a little tough. Dosent help that these ebay bucket seats sit low as hell.

I did some street testing last night. It didnt really do well lol It was pretty cold out though. Just below 50 degrees at 2am. Prepped the road about 50-60 yards. It would roll out in 2nd gear and as soon as I got away from the vht start spinning.

Oh sorry about that sir. I guess my mind was fixated on the cage.
If I remember correctly I used 1-1/4 x .095 It was very strong and only like 7 pounds for every 6 feet. I also made subframe connectors out of that size.

My MWC K member showed up today finally. Itll be a little while before I switch over to motor plates and install it. Probably save up a little for lower control arms and a few things too. Lingenfelter lnc-2000 also arrived.
I have been cruising with the ttops off. So much fun hearing the turbo spool and the tops off.

Super simple man. On the bottom I used a solid square piece of steel a few feet long. Bent it slightly in a corner and ran it underneath the radiator for support. Then across the top I used a round solid core piece of steel. I also used this to hold the latches for the hood. It is super strong. The radiator will barely move even with quite a bit of force. It is sturdy.
