Default Milan 06/26/2002 Results/Videos

Well went to Milan. Didn't get what I wanted but I have definitely improved my reaction times. I can definitely say that the car does not hook well. Still have yet to beat my best time, but I was close today, and was able to tear up a 2001 Z06.

Feel free to visit my site at http://www.fredkania.com/ to view the times from all but one run which did not print out.

I have also posted new videos from today on the site as well.

Is there one of you LS1 guys out there local in the metro detroit area that can lend me some of their knowledge??? I MUST granny shift the car, otherwise the car totally bogs back. If you are knowledgeable, I will bring the car out to you and you can take it for a ride yourself. All you have to do is rip second gear ONE time, and you will see what I mean.

I spoke to Eric C and he said he may help by trying to AutoTap the car.

My current guess is that it is one or more of the following:
Bad Plug
Bad Plug Wire
Bad Injector

Damn I cannot wait until LS1 Edit arrives at my door to tune this thing in correctly.

Good luck in fixing the car. Keep the times coming down. Cheers

Cam99SS9, let me know the next time you head out to Milan. I'll try to round up a few of my f-body friends and we'll ride out.

Bring it up to Stanton, & I'll check it out for you. Or check out the Camaroz28.com, Mich section, we are having a Flint gathering Fri. I'll be there, & could check it out for you.

By the way, no one gets good traction at that track. If you want way better times, go to Stanton. There is also a get together there on Sat for the F-body crowd.

Shoot me an email if you need directions or other info. Good luck.

Racing on Saturday at Stanton. It's open to anyone who wants to play. It's all index racing instead of bracket racing, which is more fun to be honest.

FWIW, I can't hook at Milan if my life depended on it. However I don't hold back on the 1-2 shifts, so something sounds really wrong there. I looked at your video and it looks like your 1-2 shift is pretty rough. Have you tried that at any other track?
